YORK ROTARY'S CENTENARY 2021
Centenary Lunch at York Mansion House
May 13th 2022
To round off our celebrations commemorating our Centenary, a formal Civic lunch was held on May 13th at York Mansion House
(by kind permission of the Lord Mayor of York).
With guests of honour Cllr Ashley Mason JP, Sheriff of York and his consort Danielle Mason,
it was a glittering occasion with reflections of the past hundred years and hopes for the future.

President David reflected on the event....
"It was lovely to be at the Mansion House, even though it was nearly sixteen months later than it should have been. We were able to re-create the 90th anniversary photograph for our centenary (above)
We had an excellent lunch of Lamb followed by Tarte Tatin, provided by Braithwaite Catering. The menu card included a 100 year timeline history for York Rotary which is a lovely record to have.
By the time we left the dining room the Rotary plaque was in place at the bottom of the stairs, that is a lovely feature which will remain in the Mansion House for many years."
